When did you decide to model, and how long have you been in modeling? Over 24 years, it just sort Of happened over night. I was cutting class one day in the 9th grade in my high school in New Mexico when a Modeling Scout stopped me in the halls I thought I was in trouble, I was afraid to give her my full name. She was very pretty. She gave me a card to a modeling school and introduced her self as Star. I told her I was Char not Charlotte my full name. Ironically years later when I married the first letter of my new last name began with an E. After moving to the NYC area to pursue my career further at age 30 and agent accidentally typed an accent mark after the E. There’s where the persona Char E’ came about.
What do you bring to the modeling field or game? Great energy, positive attitude and years of experience.
Who is your role model in the modeling world?Tyra Banks.
I like the pinups.Where do you get the ideas for the designs? Robert, thanks for the observance, first letme explain a little about the history and the definition of the word. A true “Pin-up" was considered a painted image of a model taken from a black and white photograph. The first wascreated in this way in the early 1920’s. The word “Pin-up means perfect, wholesome, flawless, of course this is only representative of the clean and often whimsical poses that come to mind. There is an old fashioned elegance that is appreciated in this form of erotica; therefore it does have its own special place! The Artist Guy Powers creates each design from his own imagination however in some cases prior to the shoot I wanted to re-create a certain pose or time period in which case I conducted extensive research for historical content. Each piece takes days to complete. For more detail as to the process and information on the artist please visit the files section of my Yahoo Group site http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PinUpCharE.
What do you like about being in front of the camera? An opportunity to relieve stress by transforming myself self into another character, mood, time or place.
What do you like to do in your free time? Read, write poetry and stories, surf the net, cook gourmet meals, watch classic films at home with a cup of Indian Chai, go to the movies by myself and eat all the popcorn I want!

Another question I’m sure the fellas will want to know, what are you most likely to wear to the beach? To bed? To the club? LOL, the beach a string bikini only because my bum looks better and does not fit into most full coverage type of bathing suit bottoms. To bed I love 2 piece lounger sets pants or shorts with little girlie prints and bright colors. Sorry guys! To the club, a really hot top and my favorite jeans with heeled sandals or the same great top and a short skirt.
What is your most defining feature? My eyes, ok I know that ones over-rated but I definitely can’t say my toes!
What makes you oh so sexy? My voice, everyone loves it. It’s part Midwest Ohio and part New Mexico.
What turns you on in a man? Turns you off? Being too aggressive.

If you had a choice, what magazine would you be on the cover of? People

What is your favorite part about being a model?International travel, new opportunities, setting your own schedule and l limits, wearing feminine and beautiful clothing, dressing up.
What’s the best advice ever given to you?Don’t give up on yourself, your all youv’e got.
What advice do you give to young, up and coming models? Read all that you can from magazines Ask a lot of questions of anyone you know that is in this business. Take a brief class at a community college on any form of graceful dance such as belly dancing or any dances of the eastern religion and culture. This will give you a wide range of poses and flow when you move. Stay spiritually balanced and try to experiment with adding healthier foods to your diet if you do not presently. Most important remember to smile on the inside first, someone will always be watching the outside!

I joined her Yahoo Group shortly after she started it, and I was impressed by her portfolio. Check her out on the many sites that she is on and you will see her classiness, sassiness and creativity. Say hello to Miss Aquarius!
What got you into modeling? I'd never really thought about modeling much until photographer/marketing specialist Troy Julian Gipson asked if I would take some photos. I love being in front of and behind the camera so I agreed. I honestly didn't follow up with it much until Troy told me about the audition for the AppleBottoms fashion show and I then met Leslie of LModelz.
Have you done any modeling before opening your group? Before opening my yahoo group I was a runway model in a fashion show for AppleBottoms jeans. I was scared to death but I learned a lot from the other models and from the AppleBottoms team. I also modeled at a fashion bonanza in Chicago for an up and coming designer, Suzette O. for her, EightTwentyEight Designs. I'd also done photo shoots here and there with different photographers.
Who would you say is your role model when it comes to modeling? I would say Iman and/or Tyra Banks.
I’ve first saw you on your Yahoo group. Are you on any other sites?
Yes, I am on www.lmodelz.com, Explore Talent ,and of course my Yahoo 360 page http://360.yahoo.com/msaquarius1977
Are you planning on getting a site together? I've thought about getting a site together but haven't committed to it yet.
What would you say is your best feature? Physical feature hmmmm I guess my smile or my "assets" LOL Other than that I'd say my personality. I try to stay down-to-earth and treat everyone right!
I’m sure the fellas will want to know-are you single or taken? Are you sure they want to know? LOL...I am sooooooo single. It's actually been about 4 years since I was in a "relationship". Being single is fun, so I hang out with my uncle alot. So, if some guy is too aggressive, I can say, "I'm here with somebody" or if a guy is cool I can say "WHo him? That's my uncle!" HA HA HA HA
What kind of man do you prefer-"street smart" or "book smart"? I prefer a guy that is a mix of both. I need someone that can be versatile and adapt to any environment.
Another question Im sure the fellas will want to know, what are you most likely to wear to the beach? To bed? To the beach, a dark colored bikini so that I can attract as much sun as possible. To bed, not a damn thing if my man is in bed with me. :-)
When you model, what settings do you like to do the most? Doesn't really matter to me. They are all fun to me! If you had a choice, what magazine would you be on the cover of? DIME MAGAZINE(because I love sports, but I know you have to be an athlete to grace their cover) KING, Jane, XXL, or Sports Illustrated
If you had a choice of videos, which one would you be in? A dirty south crunk video or would you go R&B? Probably R&B, but I love Crunk too. Dang that was a hard question!
In taking photos, what are you most comfortable in? Dresses and skirts
What do you bring to the modeling field or game?A warm and welcoming personality. Not enough people are humble these days.
What are your goals in terms of being a model? Magazine covers, more fashion shows, and a video or two.
I’m glad that I got a chance to catch up with you, so for my last question, I want you to sum up your style and yourself with one word.....NATURAL

Most followers of Tyra Banks' hit show "America's Next Top Model" can tell you that the best woman does not always win the title. Many might say that was the case when Bre finished third during the show's 5th season, but the 19-year-old took her loss in stride and has parlayed the skills from the show into a full-time hustle.
"My best experience on the show was just getting picked. That was a wonderful feeling. I stayed focused for two months. I went to L.A., I went to London, I met people I never would have met. That show was tiring, but it was a good experience. All in all it taught me how to model and how to take pictures," Bre told SOHH.
While many viewers tune in to ANTM precisely for the drama factor, Bre told SOHH that she tried to block out her housemates and often used her Uptown roots as a motivational reminder."It's hard living with 13 girls; that never gets easier... As far as females go and the competition, what gave me my drive was that I had a purpose for coming. I could always remember that I live in a two bedroom apartment with my mother and my two brothers. Whether or not I won I knew I was there to be successful and that was my focus," Bre explained.
While many of the ANTM runners-up have signed with top modeling agencies after their TV debuts, Bre opted to book her own jobs rather than be one of many faces at a large agency."Everything I've done I've been freelancing. I've booked some wonderful things for myself, plus that money is coming to me, I don't have to pay anybody but me. As far as agencies are concerned, I have a management team, I have a great publicist and we're doing a great job. I'm not rushing into the limelight because I'd rather have longevity than two minutes of fame. You only have one shot and I just want to do it right, that's it," Bre told SOHH.
Although she's no longer appearing in front of a panel of judges, Bre has continued to raise the bar for herself, rising to new challenges she's given herself taken from feedback received on the show.
"As soon as the show was over I did a photo shoot to give myself another portfolio. On the show they weren't sure I could be edgy, so I went in and took really edgy pictures. I proved to myself that I could do it," Bre recalled.
In the months since her ANTM stint Bre has proven herself to a number of big name clients. In addition to walking in Alice + Olivia's New York Fashion Week show, Bre has graced the pages of ESSENCE and VIBE magazines and been named a spokeswoman for SoftSheen-Carson.
Still, for the young woman who says her dream job would be walking the runway in couture Chanel, Ralph Lauren or Marc Jacobs or appearing as a Victoria's Secret girl for their Juniors line Pink, Bre is enjoying the control she can exercise over her own career.
"The best part of my job is waking up everyday and knowing I work hard for myself, and everything I get out is what I put in for myself and my business," Bre told SOHH.

I just started modeling and i think i'm a good looking girl but the only thing is i dont have as much ass as a lot of the other models i see out there such as Buffie.
Don't get me wrong now I love Buffie, she's true to herself, but i have to wonder if Buffie didn't have all that ass would she be where she's at now?
Sometimes when i go out to a photo shoot. i feel out of place because i see other girls with ass and here i am with a lil' booty.
I know i should love my body and i do but i need some advice.

In the initial preliminary round of VV we hosted 16 girls at a music video boot camp hosted at Carolina Pinnacle Studios. CPS is a remote, 400 acre movie studio in Yanceyville, NC. Through a series of challenges we eliminated 6 ladies leaving 10 potential video vixens. Once we have 20 of the most beautiful, vivacious, sexy Video Vixen potentials, they will compete in a music video open call to determine which 12 girls will go to the final Challenge in Atlanta.
The ladies will reside in a mansion together while competing in various VV challenges and music video shoots with some of R&B and Raps Hottest artist. We are producing a video for the hit single "Whoop His Ass – Featuring Petey Pablo, Sab Young, & Young Soulja. This is a great video for this challenge because the models have to look good as well as act out and lip sync the song as the lead singer, since its shot in the style of George Michael's song FREEDOM (models lip sync the entire song).
Currently, we have completed the first preliminary round in which we chose 10 women. We are in post production from that segment and are seeking developmental funds from a network or private investor to capture the following content and complete the show.Second Preliminary Round – Selecting the second group of 10Video Casting Challenge – Eliminate the Vixens from 20 to 12Atlanta Challenge – Challenges, Music Videos, and other obstacles to go from 12 to 1 crowing the ULTIMATE VIDEO VIXEN

Innocence AKA Sharelle is one of my favorite models in the game. She has a beauty that is overwhelming and enticing. However, one of her sayings is "Beauty is worth a day, but beauty and brains are worth a lifetime."In every photo she takes, she knows how to display her bomb body and beautiful smile. At the same time, she just reminds you of that good girl next door because she's just got that look, which makes her nickname appropriate. Say hello to Innocense!
What got you into modeling?
It actually happened pretty fast(within a year) of meeting a great Chicago photographer named Percy Greenwood, who is now my manager. I started working with him in his business for about 6 months then he asked me if I would do a shoot with him and here I am!
Who would you say is your role model when it comes to modeling?
My role models would have to be Iman, Tyra Banks, and Adriana Lima. I choose Iman because she is such a strong force to be reckoned with, she came into the industry with her eyes and ears open, she has really taught me to pay attention. I just love Adriana Lima, she is sooo beautiful! As for Ms. Tyra Banks, at first I didn't like her, I thought she was stuck up. But after watching her shows, "America's Next Top Model" and "The Tyra Banks Show", I have definitely had a change of heart. I realized she was just like me, that all that makeup didn't change her she was just ty-ty. It reminded me of the way I feel about myself, I'm just Sharelle.
Tell me about your model search tour and any other projects you have going.
Well we(my manager and I) just finished the Midwest and east coast part of our tour:
Detroit, March 10-12Th Indianapolis, March 12-14Th Milwaukee, March 16Th Detroit, March 25-27Th Ohio, March 27-29Th
New York, April 23-25Th Boston, April 25Th-26Th Virginia April 27Th-29Th Maryland, April 29Th-30Th
Unfortunately we did not get to finish the southern part(Atlanta,Houston, and Jacksonville,FL). My manager became terribly ill at the end of our tour, but he is doing better now, so Southern Belles, expect us between June and July!!!!
I've seen your Yahoo Group. Are you on any other sites?
www.Models-N-Action.com - My managers Website
Are you planning on getting a site together?
Yes and very soon!!! I can't give out the name of it yet, its a secret!!!My manager, our web designer, and myself are already putting my vision into creation.
What would you say is your best feature?
My best feature would be my eyes, but I have been told that my eyes, lips, smile, behind, legs, and/or my thighs are my best feature. What do you think?
I'm sure the fellas will want to know-are you single or taken?
Well Fellas, I am happily in love. But please believe, I still aim to please, just in my photos...and behind the scenes videos soon to come ...
Another question I'm sure the fellas will want to know, what are you most likely to wear to the beach? To bed?
To the Beach: A SEXY 2PC swimsuit that hugs in all the right places...
To Bed: Baby Oil Gel....Sweet Perfume...and NOTHING else...
When you model, what do you feel most comfortable in?
When modeling, I feel the most comfortable in Lingerie. I love feeling and looking sexy!
What do you bring to the modeling field or game?
I bring versatility, personality, class, charm, and enthusiasm to modeling. I am also a very hard working, determined individual. When I am in front of the camera, I give my all, and it shines from my heart into my soul and through my eyes! I try to give all that I have. I feel that God gave me something special, and God knows I'm gonna use it!
If you had a choice, what magazine would you be on the cover of?
If given a choice I would be on the cover of all of them(Black Men's,Smooth, XXL,FHM,Maxim,King,Elle,Essence-That's how deep my versatility goes...).
If you had a choice of videos, which one would you be in? A dirty south crunk video or would you go with a r&b video?
I would prefer a r&b video.
I'm glad that I got a chance to catch up with you, so for my last question, I want you to sum up your style and yourself with one word.....Intriguing...

Im talking to fashion impressario darnell unique haggans, the genius behind the unique candy wraps...let me first ask u to tell us about yourself....
Briefly or in details?(lol)
Give me details.....
Ok.......I was born in Clarksdale, MS. ( along with my belated twin-brother "Carnell" ).We both were gifted by GOD. I started sewing at the age of 14 From that point on, I decided to explore what it was like to take fabric to make it into several forms of garments in many styles and sizes.Briefly.... I AM molded into a "master fashion designer".
What is the concept behind "Unique Candy Wraps"?
Well..... it all started in Atlanta, Ga........I was having a break at a downtown strip club.......I was sitting at the bar enjoying myself talking with a dancer.... I saw another dancer all upset. So, I asked her "What's wrong my dear?" She had such a sour and bitter attitude. I simply told her that I was a fashion designer at that particular moment. I also told her that she needs to be sweet like candy with her attitude. She says "Why?" I answered with...I will start wrapping you up in my unique designs and you will become a sweet candy. Transforming into UNIQUE CANDY WRAPS! Unique is my designer name / Candy is a female ( model / dancer / woman ) and......... Wraps are the garments that are custom-made to fit her body accordingly.
Tell me about the Unique Candy Wraps line....is it tailor made for models, or is it for even like the common woman.....
It's for ANY woman ( not little girls )...... that comes in all sizes ( regardless of her nationality ).All tailor made to fit precisely well.
Is it available to be purchased online?
Not at this point. But can be done in person.
Do you make hats, shirts, pants, or all of these?
Hats ( some ).......... but other items mentioned ( yes )
What is your vision for Unique Candy Wraps, or I guess the future vision you have for it?
Well, basically Unique Candy Wraps is my women clothing line. Along with my men's line: Unique Candyman Collection. However, I do plan to conduct my own apparel clothing manufactory.... namimg it: I AM UNIQUE, Inc. That's my ultimate vision.
Thats hot...so you also can do mens clothes as well....when will you show those designs....??
I will reveal my men's line as soon as I have my very own runway fashion show. Perhaps, in Atlanta, GA. or N.Y.C. I do have on a walking suit .... on the cover of http://www.UniqueCandyWraps.net, which is designed by me and my twin-brother ( Carnell ).
You have a twin brother...i did not know that...thats double trouble...lol....well let me get down to the nitty gritty....you've interacted with a lot of models and this is a weblog about models....so what are your observations about models???Anything that you like or dislike???
Before I answer that good question. I must confess that my twin-brother died in 1999. But I AM looking forwards to carry out our goal. Now, for the models....... I learned that very few of them are aware of the difference between retailed garments and tailored garments. Very few knows how to WEAR clothings during a particular photoshoot. Same applies to the photographers. It seems to me that the models are more focused on promoting their body instead of the product. It's takes a prefessional model to comprehend that a real model is a "saleperson". A model MUST sell the product. NOT her body.
So for some of these young models starting yahoo groups, hooking up with photographers and building portfolios, what advice do you give so they can step up their game.....
I suggest that they stay away from these un-real photographers........... they need to stop taking A & T photos.......... and stop focusing too much on fast money.
Do you have any favorite models?
OF COURSE I DO!! (LOL)
Who would you say is your favorite??
MAXINE SCOTTTT!! ( # 1 )....NEFERTITI.......eBONII.......MONICA DYAMONDZ\...... so many!!! (lol)
LOL......if you had a chance to work with a "supermodel" or celebrity, which one would be your first choice?
Yeah me too....LOL.....what do you think about the urban fashion world...you know, Fubu, Sean John, Rocafella.....and do you have a favorite fashion designer or role model?
To be honest........ I was designing before they existed (lol) but, my favorite role model is ME. Every1 should be themselves. Be unique
I feel ya there.......as you are unique.....
Just being Darnell Unique Haggans. We all have a gift from God.Being creative is power.
I've asked all the questions I can think of, and so my last question is, what's next for the Candyman?
My next mission is to create jobs for young high school graduates. To conduct the APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM for any1 who wants to learn the true trade of "master tailoring". We need more "tailors", not just seamstresses and fashion designers.
Good luck Darnell!

Standing at 6'1.5" Antonia Lewis has never been able to blend in, she was always the tallest girl in her class and of all her friends. Now she hopes her success in the modeling field will bring back the classic pinup should be. She also hopes she can prove that darker-skinned models/DIVAS are just as beautiful as caramel or lighter-toned models.
Antonia has been preparing to take the world by storm since the age of 5 when she first came to AMERICA.After dabbling in singing, metal shop, drama, and writing in her high school years, she decided to concentrate fully on modeling and getting her FORENSIC SCIENCE degree.
Not only is she starting online, but offline she is helping young girls get into modeling and helps promotes local models looking for exposure. Antonia is so much more than just another pretty face. She's a talented woman with intelligence and the blessings of ambition as well as the strength.
What got you into modeling? A Couple of things starting with my height and ending with the places you can go.
How long have you been modeling? I have been modeling on and off since high school and have been full fledged for about a year now so all together it about 6 years.
What would you say is your best feature?I have been told my best feature have been my face, my legs, my body and so on so now I say I am my best feature.
Do you plan on putting together a pay site? Yes, I definitely plan on a pay site I have to look for the one that can suite my budget and then it will be up and running.
What are your goals in the modeling world? I have many goals starting with showing up and coming models that you don't have to do anything that you think is degrading to make it, also my Main goal for me is to walk the VICTORIA SECRET RUNWAY.
When you model, what do you feel most comfortable in? I feel most comfortable in my skin which means I am versatile I can model in anything as long as the photographer stays professional and does not make me uncomfortable I will model.
If you had a choice, what magazine would you be on the cover of? I have always wanted the cover of Swimsuit Illustrated, or VIBE
If you had a choice of videos, which one would you be in? A dirty south crunk video or would you go with a "hyphy" video? I would go with a dirty south video but i wouldn't mind either way.
I'm glad that I got a chance to catch up with you, so for my last question, I want you to sum up your style and yourself with one word..... UNIQUE

Vida Guerra is gracing the cover of Playboy Magazine's July issue which is slated to hit newsstands today (June 9). Word is the model took the flicks as early as last July. The curvaceous pin-up's nude motivation was apparently sparked by the leak of her sidekick photos. The photos had Miss Guerra revealing her apple bottom on several spreads. Hopefully, Vida's layout will spark a trend.

Amber is a beautiful and intelligent commercial, print and promotional model from Austin,Texas. Not only is she a model, but she is also a diligent student and aspiring educator and teacher . She is now keeping herself busy going to summer school and starting a group of models for a record label in Dallas. Despite that, she's not too busy to talk to people and network on her Yahoo! group called Commercial Models. Through this group she is trying to put a name out for commercial and print models. Check out her group and say hello to sexy model Amber!
1. What got you into modeling?
The fact that I have a beautiful smile as well as I wanted to show others it off and make them smile as well.
2. I find it interesting you named your group "commercial models". Most models name their groups after themselves. Whats behind that name?
Everyone can not be 5’7’’ or taller and I wanted to encourage others who do not have “the look” or the body type that many people in the industry who are promoted as fashionable to also consider themselves as desirable models.
3. Talk about your schooling, you are in college studying what? What are you planning to do with your education?
I attend the University of Texas at Austin. ‘hook em horns.’ My major is Government with a minor in History and I hate to brag but I am---I have a 3.1698 GPA. Oh, I graduate this August. Yeah me! I inspire to become the first female principal of Lincoln High School Humanities/Communities Magnet (located in Dallas, TX) because I believe that low socio-economic students are displaying poor progress in academic success because they lack the self-esteem needed to excel in the classroom.
4. For the fellas reading this blog, I got a question. R u single or taken?
Awwwwww. I love this question. Sorry to say but I am in a committed relationship of four years. That is 1/5 of my life. Lol
5. Another question I’m sure the fellas will want to know, what are you most likely to wear to the beach?
Shorts and a sports bra. Hey, I like to be sexy and comfortable. Who knows, I’ll end up being the strong safety for beach football.
6. To bed?
Usually boy-cut panties with a sexy top, but every once in a while my birthday suit. (Wink, wink)
7. In taking photos, what are you most comfortable in?
Any clothing but lingerie or a bathing suit. I tend to look thicker than what I am.
8. What do you bring to the modeling field or game?
I bring my beauty pageant experience and my public speaking skills.
9. What would you say is your best feature?
Smile, Personality and then my turkey-legs.
10. Which magazine would you appear on the cover of if you had a choice?
Anything but Playboy and other nudity type magazines because I have respect for my family, community, and myself; yet, more power to other models that grace the cover of Playboy.
11. Do you have any plans on making a website?
Maybe, it depends how far I do in this industry. Remember, modeling is my hobbie and not future career.
